What happens in the Jom Transform Programme?

There will be a pre-programme workshop called The FinLab Business Model Transformation (BMT). This is a transformative two-day workshop designed to help participating SMEs identify their business challenges before using a proven framework to turn these into actionable opportunities. Then, SMEs who best meet our selection criteria will be offered the opportunity to participate in the Jom Transform Programme.

For the first month of the programme, the SMEs will go through relevant workshops covering specific areas, like digital marketing and change management. They will also access and choose relevant digital solutions to pilot and implement. For the final two months of the programme, the SMEs will be guided to implement their selected digital solutions, while monitoring and assessing their effectiveness.

The programme will culminate in a major event, the ‘Showcase Day’. At Showcase Day, all participating SMEs, together with the digital solutions they have worked with, will share and celebrate their business transformation journeys together.

How much time does selected SMEs have to commit each week during the programme period?

For SMEs selected into the programme, senior management should commit 2-3 days per week, in the first month, to attend workshops. The dates and times of the workshops will be released to the selected SMEs, with prior notice given to facilitate planning.

For the last two months of the programme, there may not be any workshops, but the selected SMEs are expected to commit time and resources to implement the chosen digital solutions, and to meet and follow-up with their assigned mentors.
