The Jom Transform Programme seeks to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia better compete in the digital economy. The programme will equip selected Malaysian SMEs with the tools, know-how and confidence to transform digitally. Participating SMEs will be matched with specially-chosen technology providers to pilot innovative and relevant digital solutions. The FinLab has collaborated with the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to provide digital advisory and relative incentives to the programme.
Participants of the Jom Transform Programme are eligible for the Smart Automation Grant (SAG). The SAG is a matching grant allocated under Penjana 2020 for Malaysian businesses to digitalise their business processes and move towards the technology frontier. This matching grant is intended to assist companies embarking on automation to achieve one of these outcomes: increase in revenue, savings in business cost, reduction of process time cycle, reduce man hours and create new sources of growth.
